The Ace Hardware store at McClintock and Baseline is partnering with Salt River Project to provide money-saving solutions to Kyrene Corridor homeowners.
In a promotion that runs through Dec. 31, SRP electric customers can take advantage of a special offer to buy five pleated Ace brand air filters and get one free.
SRP customers can visit www.savewithsrp.com to print a money-saving coupon and view the list of participating Ace Hardware stores, where coupons are also available.
According to Debbie Kimberly, SRP’s manager of Energy Efficiency and Policy Analysis, air filters are one of the least-expensive ways to maintain the efficiency of your heating and cooling system.
“While manufacturers recommend replacing your air filter every three months, the high amount of dust and particulates in the metro Phoenix area can quickly clog air filters,” said Kimberly.
“We recommend replacing your air filter every month to keep your unit operating at top efficiency.”
