I find it rather interesting that the majority of students who won scholarships are of Asian decent. Why so few Anglo-Americans, African-Americans and Latin-Americans? Are Asians just smarter than the rest of us? Do their parents have stronger priorities and put more focus and emphasis on education than the rest of us? Are they more disciplined? What ever the reasons, it's obvious that we have a great deal to learn from them, and we need to realize that that unless we start taking our education seriously, we're going to find ourselves left too far behind.
