The magic of science

At west Chandler’s Sunset branch library,
youngsters get a hands-on chance to learn
more about science, thanks to the sleight
of hand of teacher Micah Corporaal. ‘Mr.
Micah,’ as he’s known to the kids and
their parents, employs a bit of personal
magic to teach his young audiences about
such scientific wonders as bursting dry
ice bubbles and launching soda-bottle
rockets. The class isn’t for everyone,
though. Library officials insist that parents
must accompany the little future scientists.
