Sounds like a very expensive typical white collar gov’t enslavement scam of the middle class who already pays for most of everything. Everything is fine already leave it alone your just going to break the hearts of already beleaguered citizens who are having trouble paying there bills as it is. Your help only breaks the middle class hearts that fund our nation. Typical of the usual wasteful city governments of our country. No price is too great when it comes to discouraging the middle class.
It’s not your money. In other words city governments are costly, maddening punishing organizations that should do as little a possible to raise tax payers costs. We’re just fine NOW. Stop “saving” us because you end up destroying our happiness and dreams making things not just worse but a lot worse. We are content to do our own shopping to improve our lives in other words leave well enough alone. The more you “help” us with tax manacles around our ankles the lower our standard of living evaporates. Governments, 90 percent of the time, make things worse not better. Please stop helping us O municipal benefactors the pain you cause as ” self imagined “saviors” who just want to “help us” is so discouraging, misguided and unwelcome it lowers our estimation of your value to the community. When has a government ever removed burdens from the people that pay these bills. Dear nanny govt please stop trying to” help us” your really bad at it.

As reported in the San Jose Mercury News, the reports are very telling of these vehicles losing track of where they are due to GPS failures, among other things.

Could it be that the local powers-that-be want to accept this technology, regardless of the obvious lack of safety?

Inquiring minds want to know.

Further, there are thousands of new components now added to one of the most hostile operation environments that we have…all with failure rates that are much less than the lifespan of a normal vehicle. So in addition to be unpredictable, these will always be much more expensive than the median income family can afford. IMO, Chandler should remove these from our streets…not increase their usage. I am hoping that a change in leadership at City Hall will alleviate this menace from our streets.
