Tally-Ho CCR's were in place when the land was purchased by the developer. He counted on the resident landowners seeing things his way as far as developing heretofore residential land. Well... most do not.
Changing a law does not change history and is not retroactive. This pest should move on, he cares not about the residents and their last vestige of 'rural' living in Tempe. South Tempe needs another restaurant 'bistro' like a hole-in-the-head.

I live in an adjacent development, Rain Tree and I totally understand the homeowners point of view. Tally Ho Farms is rural residential properties and conditions apply and can only be changed by the homeowners in total.
Mr. Bastian and Mr. Fautsch can go develop commercial property elsewhere. These Tally Ho properties have been here since 1960’s or so, if you want to enlighten yourself and be close to commercial shops move downtown.

Please do something with that ugly blighted site, it's an eye sore!!!!! The recent addition of Tempe Public Market, Ghost Ranch and Copper has been really nice. I can't understand why someone would want to block the development of that lot. Get over whatever personal feelings you have toward the owner and move on with your life.
