Yes! i know some as well that got nothing because they are considered temp/ seasonal. they get nothing. no benefits or perks of any kind and now a further slap in the face. they work there for years which according to the DOL is not temp seasonal. temp seasonal is 6 months to one year not ten years. Kevin Hartke and city manager josh wright are douche bags. a three month employee gets a bonus and a years long employee gets $0000000. read the announcement below.

Team Chandler,
I am happy to share some news about a decision that was made by the Chandler City Council during their meeting last night.
In appreciation of the phenomenal services provided by the members of Team Chandler throughout the pandemic, the City Council has decided to offer a one-time exceptional performance award to all regular full-time and regular part-time employees.
Team Chandler has adapted and overcome numerous challenges during this past year and continues to provide uninterrupted and outstanding service to Chandler residents, and to each other.
The City Council wants to recognize employees for your persistence as we’ve all traveled through this unprecedented time, often filled with uncertainty. Your commitment to the City of Chandler is apparent, and you should be commended.
Here are some important things you should know about the one-time exceptional performance award:
· The award will be processed and included in the upcoming paycheck on April 15, 2021.
· Regular full-time employees will receive $3,000
· Regular part-time employees will receive $1,500.
· Temporary and seasonal employees are not eligible.
· These funds will be taxed at normal compensation rates.
· Must have been employed as of Dec. 31, 2020 and remain employed through March 27, 2021.
· Payments are ASRS eligible, but not PSPRS eligible. (This means a portion of the performance award will be withheld and contributed to retirement accounts for employees in non-sworn positions.)
Congratulations and thank you for all you do, Team Chandler!
Sincerely,
Josh Wright
Acting City Manager
