habitat cory woods and recipients_newSmiles were everywhere as the city of Tempe and Habitat for Humanity offered a long awaited first look at two new homes constructed with the combined efforts of Ramsey Social Justice Foundation, SRP and East Valley Catholic Coalition. Church volunteers, college students and local business people worked for months to build the homes, part of the city’s neighborhood revitalization effort. On hand as Lionel Andrade, center, received the keys were Tempe Councilmembers Corey Woods and Robin Savage-Arrendondo. Lionel made the purchase to provide a home for him and his mother.
