The New York Times bestselling author’s latest novel, “Dance of the Bones” deals with a missing boy and two cold cases that suddenly turn red-hot.

Readers familiar with the series, as well as those new to Jance’s thrill-a-minute style, will watch as Detective J.P. Beaumont and Sheriff Brandon Walker join forces to stop a sociopathic smuggler who has eluded justice for decades.

Jance, who was brought up in Bisbee, lives in Tucson and Seattle. The Tempe Public Library is located at 3500 s. Rural Road.
